OUR PHILOSOPHY

We believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process. We value the individuality of each child and recognize that they have their own strengths, interests, and ways of learning. Our emergent curriculum approach is centered around these principles, allowing children to take the lead in their learning experiences.

Emergent Curriculum:

A child-centered approach to learning, driven by children’s interests, questions, and ideas.

It embraces the belief in children’s inherent curiosity and capacity to guide their own learning. Educators keenly observe and listen to identify emerging interests, using them as a foundation for curriculum planning.

Physical

daily recreation, including access to our dedicated playground.

Social

group activities that promote community and caring for others; multi-generational programming.

Intellectual

cognitive development, executive functioning, creative expression, and language/literacy skills are supported through our various activities and programs.
